چکیده
Research Question: Is maternal age only a gross predictor of chromosome abnormalities in human embryos? Design: Here, we evaluated the less-studied variation abnormality rates embryos patients within same group. Patients undergoing IVF and PGD for chromosomal ~127 different clinics were included. PGT-A analysis was performed by single reference laboratory using array CGH or NGS. To get an estimate range observed, aCGH NGS data studied both independently together. Results: The overall results showed typical increase aneuploidy with advancing (AMA) but extensive variability each Conclusions: Increasing has been demonstrated live births, unborn fetuses, oocytes. In contrast, post-meiotic other that might lead to mosaicism, polyploidy haploidy, are commonplace (around 30%), regardless age. Here conclude is embryos. contrast existing standard offering AMA patients, high rate extreme may warrant further cycles even younger groups, especially if history increased levels evident. Furthermore, better indicators needed determine which at higher risk producing aneuploid

OBJECTIVE To determine the extent of intra-age and intercycle variations in the frequency of first polar body aneuploidy in two consecutive cycles of oocyte retrieval undertaken by the same patient within 1 year. DESIGN Retrospective study. SETTING Fertility centers. PATIENT(S) Infertile couples undergoing IVF. INTERVENTION(S) Patients underwent two consecutive cycles of preimplantation...
متن کاملChromosome abnormalities in human embryos.
The presence of numerical chromosome abnormalities in human embryos was studied using fluorescence in-situ hybridization with four or more chromosome-specific probes. When most cells of an embryo are analysed, this technique allows differentiation to be made between aneuploidy, mosaicism, haploidy and polyploidy. Abnormal types of fertilization, such as unipronucleated, tripronucleated zygotes ...

Mosaicism was studied in good quality embryos from four different centres in order to assess the effects of follicular induction and exposure to laboratory conditions on chromosomal status. The donated embryos were fully biopsied and analysed by fluorescence in-situ hybridization using probes for chromosomes X, Y, 13, 18 and 21, simultaneously. The number of abnormal cells present indicated the...
متن کاملChromosome Number Variation in Iranian Populations of Acorus calamus
Different ploidy levels, diploid (2n=2x=24) to hexaploid (2n=6x=72) have been reported for Acorus calamus, a perennial medicinal plant. According to available information, there is a significant relationship between the ploidy level and essential oil compositions and medicinal properties of this important genetic resource. However, there is no information about the chromosome number of A. calam...
متن کاملChromosome Abnormalities in Leukemia
The renewed interest in the study of chromosome abnormalities in hematologic malignancies, particularly in the leukemias, is the result of technical improvements which permit the precise identification of each human chromosome, and of parts of chromosomes as well. The information obtained raises a number of questions regarding the validity of older notions, such as the variability of the chromo...
